Tyler Perry's wishful promo poster for his next Madea movie has hit the web, and it looks like the actor/director/writer/producer/cross-dresser has decided to parody Black Swan in an attempt to promote what feels like the 100th movie featuring the infamously "mad" black woman. We've now seen the poster, so Perry has succeeded in getting his grandmother alter-ego some much needed attention, but the result isn't pretty and, furthermore, as one journalist pointed out, "this is about as close as Tyler’s going to get to the Oscars" - because we all know Natalie Portman will be taking away the award for best actress this year.
If you feel like reading a review of the last bomb Perry dropped on us, Why Did I Get Married Too?, click here. Otherwise, "Madea, Perry, and their redundant tales of deadbeat dads, stereotypical bossy black women, and AIDS-infected hookers return to theaters April 22."
We couldn't have said it better ourselves. Although, UK residents need not worry, yet. A UK release date hasn't been announced.
